Our Team

Jeremiah Hayes is an award-winning director who has been editing documentaries for over fourteen years. Known for a style that pushes the boundaries of conventional documentary filmmaking, Jeremiah has brought his talent and strong sense of storytelling to the editing of over 16 projects. He has garnered numerous awards and accolades for his work on independent documentaries, docu-dramas, television series, docu-soaps, and series research and development. Mary Fowles joined DLI in December 2005, and has since worked as an associate producer and production manger on Inside the Great Magazines and Canadaville, USA. With a journalism graduate degree from Concordia University and a BA in religious studies from McGill, Mary previously worked as a journalist and has been published in Canada (Maclean's, The Montreal Gazette) and Germany (qantara.de). She also lived in Casablanca, Morocco, for one year where she wrote for the independent newsweekly, Le Journal Hebdomadaire.
